About AstroLabs
A small catalog, documented to the last vial.
AstroLabs supplies research peptides and laboratory essentials to people who need to know exactly what is in the vial. Nothing reaches the catalog until an independent laboratory has confirmed identity and purity for that specific lot.
Our mission
Make verification the normal thing.
Research peptides are usually sold on claims. We would rather be judged on paperwork: a certificate for the lot you actually receive, published where anyone can read it, without an account or an email gate.
That standard is easier to hold with a short list, so we keep one. A compound stays listed only while we can source and verify it the same way, lot after lot.
What we set out to do
Give researchers material they can trace, documentation they can read, and answers from people who understand the handling.
Where we draw the line
No dosing guidance, no medical claims, no blends without disclosure, and no orders that indicate human or animal use.
The science, briefly
How research peptides work.
A peptide is a short chain of amino acids — the same building blocks proteins are made of, just far shorter. Because the sequence is short and specific, a peptide can bind a particular receptor or enzyme, which is exactly why they are useful as laboratory reference material.
Sequence decides behaviour
Identity testing confirms the chain is the sequence on the label. A single wrong residue changes how the material behaves in an assay, which is why mass-spec identity matters as much as purity.
Lyophilised for stability
Peptides ship freeze-dried because water drives degradation. Sealed and cold, lyophilised material stays stable for months; once reconstituted, the clock starts.
Purity is a number, not a claim
HPLC reports purity as a percentage of the total peak area, so 99% describes measured content for that lot — not a marketing grade shared across batches.
Safety and research use
Read this part properly.
Laboratory use only
Everything we sell is intended for in-vitro research by qualified professionals. It is not a drug, supplement, food or cosmetic, and must never be administered to humans or animals.
Handle it like a reagent
Gloves, eye protection and a clean work area. Avoid inhaling lyophilised powder, label reconstituted vials with the date, and keep material away from food preparation areas.
Storage matters
Sealed vials belong at 2–8°C away from light. Reconstituted material goes to -20°C and should avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles, which degrade the peptide.
Disposal and records
Dispose of unused material and sharps according to your institution's protocol, and keep the lot code with your records so results stay tied to a specific certificate.
For research purposes only. Not for human consumption. Not a drug, supplement, food or cosmetic.
